Clara Montalba letters, 1879-1885.

The collection consists of five letters, including: to Mr. Rawlinson, 2 Sept. 1879, explaining why she hasn't been in touch, with ink drawing of gondola in Venice lagoon; to Mrs. Rawlinson, 11 July 1880, apologizing for missing an invitation, but arranging to visit the following week, with ink drawing of a canal barge passing under a tunnel; two letters to Dear sir [E.A. Grattan], 1 and 22 March 1885, about exhibiting some of her paintings; to Miss Cole, undated, responding to her request for information about painters at a recent exhibition, supplying names to contact.
